Stanard adjustable crimp tool (Aviation Crimping Plier) Structure and principle
The aviation crimping tool is used for the crimping of wires and contactors in electric connectors
meeting the USA Military Standard (M22520/1-01).
The crimping range of the crimping tool is standard wire 12AWG (3.33MM2) to 26AWG (0.128mm2);
and the contactors are made of copper alloy materials locally annealed.
The crimping tool adopts a curve driving mechanism, the acting force is transferred to four press heads by four
curves in the head cavity of the right tool handle to make the press heads do the centripetal rectilinear motion,
Press teeth at the front ends of the press heads are pressed on the contactor, and the crimping of the wire and
the contactor is finished.
After crimping, the force applied to the tool handles is removed, and under the action of the spring,
the four press heads automatically reset.The four press heads are consistent in pressing and resetting,
the depths of the indentations are the same, so that the crimping quality of the wire and the contactor
is reliably guaranted.
